Nathaniel Hawthorne famously wrote:
“Happiness in this world, when it comes, comes incidentally. Make it the object of pursuit, and it leads us a wild-goose chase, and is never attained. Follow some other object, and very possibly we may find that we have caught happiness without dreaming of it.”
There is no evidence that the founders of this website ever studied Hawthorne; more importantly, there is ample evidence that they would not understand him even if they did.
Four young men, having inherited a commanding fortune and journalistic pedigree from their publishing magnate fathers, immediately squandered everything by investing it in print media. They have now launched The Incidentally in a desperate and egocentric attempt to preserve their good name.
Find what you need – news; entertainment; perhaps even happiness. Find it here. Find it Incidentally.
